Voluntary work and developmental projects in Northern Ghana
Northern Ghana Volunteers is a young (2002), dynamic non-profit organisation.  We support local  projects financially and by placing serious volunteers. NorGhaVo wants to promote mutual respect, appreciation for other cultures, and personal involvement in developmental issue. By this personal involvement and appreciation we hope to stimulate people to help to tackle the roots of inequality in the world. That’s the reason for our motto: “All hands united for peace and development”

In supporting a project? Doing voluntary work yourself? Interested in NorGhaVo, our aims, and methods? Then continue reading about the projects we support and where volunteers are welcome. Read how to support them financially and what we expect when you want to become a volunteer. Also for everybody who is curious about Ghana or Africa; on this site you find a lot of nice and practical information.

Meet us?
Then come to our infomeeting in Nijmegen. Four times a year you can come to us with all your questions. Meet the people who run the organisation and listen to experiences from former volunteers.

We are looking for a manager and a teacher on our Computer Access and Development Center in Navrongo. Interested? Contact us or press here.

Wanted: extra help in the Netherlands!
In the Netherlands we can also always need a hand. For example for informing future volunteers, help on the infomeetings or assist in improving the PR of NorGhaVo. Interested?
